future for KFA is very exciting.

With special

KSD National squad members return
from KSI European Championships, Germany.
Ashleigh Whyte performed
impeccably & collected gold medals in individual kumite, kata &
team kata.
Jack Richards succeeded in
adding to that by winning gold in individual kumite & bronze in
kata.
Louise Thomas was unlucky
enough to draw world & european champions in the first rounds of
both kumite & kata, however she dug deep & came through by
helping the ladies teams to gold in both kata & kumite.
Alex Whyte in his first outing
in the mens catagory had to settle for bronze in individual
kumite, and lost in the final of the mens kata by a split
decision to fellow squad member Audun Daniels. The joy continued
in the mens team kata & team kumite when they took gold in both.

Congratulations to Max,Daniella
and Callum who successfully passed their Blackbelt
grading, after coming through a tough and testing weekend 3 day
course with Shihan Eddie Daniels 8th Dan. They proved their worth when
it came to the grading late Sunday afternoon.
After 5 1/2 hours of
training they dug deep into their reserves and came through a
very demanding grading under the astute eye of Shihan Daniels
8th Dan & Sensei Clem Braithwate 6th Dan.
Congratulations also to
Bradley, Megan, Sophie & Amy who graded 1st & 2nd Kyu.
KSD extend their
congratulations to all students who successfully passed.
